Black Cannabis Industry Association, Inc. was started to assist Black Cannabis Operators to work in collaboration insure in their respective growth and sustainability in the market by connecting with advocates, vendors, corporate members and the public.

We work actively to keep our communities informed on what’s happening in the NYS Cannabis Industry and how we can benefit from it.

The Black Cannabis Industry Association (BCIA) actively serves as a core Technical Assistance Provider (TAP) to empower social equity entrepreneurs within New York State’s licensed market. The organization leverages its robust community platform to guide applicants through complex New York State Office of Cannabis Management (NYS OCM) protocols.

By offering resources ranging from legislative advocacy and professional networking to educational programming like record expungement workshops, BCIA functions as a vital logistical bridge. Their work directly ensures that Social and Economic Equity (SEE) licensees receive the localized, strategic mentorship required to maintain regulatory compliance and build sustainable cannabis brands.
